A great first week!

Wow!  God is already blessing us. We have had a great first week of Pray, Play, Obey! We hope to get pictures up soon.

PRAY:  Our morning times with the Lord have been powerful.  2 Hours of worshipping together, praying, listening to the "Story of God, the Story of Us", learning to wrestle with big questions and applying God's truth to our lives.  Amazing!

PLAY:  We've had some crazy games like "Flying Dutchman", "Cell Phone Photo Scavbenger Hunts", "Four on a Couch".    Today we crank the old 100 foot long slip-n-slide!

OBEY:  Kids were introduced to the community of Edgewood Terrace, have served in the Thrift Store and have begun to paint an elderly woman's house in town.

KIDZ CLUB:  We had a great time learning, playing, and singing with the younger kids.  We can't wait to serve them again this week.

Pray, Play, Obey is starting soon!

We are just under 2 weeks away from starting Pray, Play, Obey for the summer.  Please check out this site for all the info you need to get your kids signed up and ready to make their summer count!  If you have any questions feel free to call Katelyn or Steve 

1st Family Night!

This Sunday, June 3rd, is our first Family Night of the summer.  Come out and enjoy great food, games, and music for the whole family.  Learn about the plans for the summer ministry and build some new relationships.  Bring a side or a dessert (Hamburgers, Hotdogs, and Drinks will be provided)  6-8 at Lake park....hope to see you there!

Pray, Play, Obey!

We want to help fill your student’s summer with meaning, growth, and fun! Pray, Play, and Obey is a summer program sponsored and led by Common Ground’s summer intern Katelyn Holmer and Steve Waggoner along with a volunteer team of adults and college students.  The program will run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from June 18^th to August 10^th (except for the July 4^thholiday and July 9^th, 11^th, and 13^th. The leadership team will be gone this week for the Methodist youth trip to Myrtle Beach)

Monday and Wednesdays are for students entering 6^th grade through 12^th grade

Friday’s  Kidz Club will be for students entering Kindergarten through 5^th grade
